Hummus

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup tahini
  • Chick peas 15 oz can (garbanzo beans) – drained and rinsed
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice (about 1 large lemon)
  • ½ to 1 clove garlic – minced
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • ½ to 1 tsp kosher salt (to taste)
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • 2-3 Tbsp water
  • Paprika

Directions

  1. In food processor, combine tahini  and lemon juice – about 1 minute.
  2. Add olive oil, cumin, and salt – about 30 seconds.
  3. Add chick peas. Blend well.
  4. Add water to thin to taste.
  5. Sprinkle with paprika.
